With winter right around the corner and the temperatures dropping rapidly, sometimes even dipping below 0°C, the Munich locals gather at our homespot, the "Kreuz", named after the prominent cross sitting out in the water, marking a bank of rocks for the ships in the summer.
While peaking around 80 - 90 kiters during the warmer Season, the Kreuz still gets a lot of attraction in wintertimes.
Wind usually is pretty good in December here in Bavaria, with about 30% probability of having more than 15 knots, which is amazing for southern Germany. Sadly most of the time it is also amazingly gusty, so you better get used to it.
With great light and an amazing view into the Bavarian alps, this spot also makes for a great photo opportunity.
